6-Kalima translation and importance

The 6-Kalima are the basic belief of Muslims all over the world. They practice these values and ingrate the principles in their lives. All the 6-Kalima are the verse of holy Quran. Let start discuss all kaalimas.

1st Kalima:

The first Kalama Tayaba means the world of purity.

                     LA ilaha illahau muhamadur rasolullah (P.B.U.H).

English translation:

                              There is no god except Allah. Muhammad is messenger of Allah.

Explanation:

Allah is one and there is no other god and just worship Allah, no other one is worthy of worship. Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Allah’s last prophet and messenger, which means no prophet who comes after him. (6-Kalima)

2nd Kalima:

Kalmia shadat is the second kalmia which means bearing witness of faith. 6-Kalima and the 2nd kalima shows faith and most important for Muslims.

Translation:

Ash-hadu Al-laaa ilaaha illa-llahu wadahoo laa shareeka lahoo wa-ash-hadu Anna Muhammad ‘abduhoowa rasooluhu.

English Translation:

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the one alone, without partner, I bear witness witness that Muhammad is his servant and messenger.

Explanation:

The second kalmia is shadat or called ‘bearing witness to faith’. When we recite this kalmia, we bear witness that Allah is one and only god, and Muhammad is his messenger. It’s not about recitation; it is about living this message from moment to moment and accept it by heart and with its doings. It is about aligning our action in accordance with this kalmia.

It also helps us to accept that Allah is the absolute power none other is equal or greater than him. He is worthily to worship.

3rd Kalima:

The third kalmia means it reflect the glory and greatness of Allah, who alone is sustainer and creator of world.

6-Kalima

Translation:

Subhanallahe wal hamdulillahe wa laa ilaha illalahoo wallahooakabar. Wala holala quwataa illa bilahel aliyel azeem.

English Translation:

Glory and praise to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and is the greatest. There is no worthy and power except Allah.

Explanation:

               The kalmia tayeba reelects the virtue of power and wonder of Allah who alone is the sustainer, creator of universe. Neither he has needed a partner nor he need helping. The third kalmia way for a believer to testify the greatness of Allah.

               Beside the greatness of Allah, the world ‘SubanAllah’ and ‘’Allah Hu Akbar’’ reflect the virtue of glory to almightiness of Allah. Believing in kalmia he assure himself by avoiding sins that there is a superior power above him, who is constantly eyeing him. The recitation of third kalmia also claims an individual because all the traits of praises of Allah are included in this kalmia.

4th Kalima:

The kalmia toheed is the fourth kalmia of Islam which reflects the greatness, oneness, and power of Allah.

6-Kalima

Translation:

Laa illaha illal lahoo wahdaho la shareekalahou lahul mulko walahul hamdu yuhee wa yumeeto
wa hoa haiy yul la yamootu Abadan abada zul jalale wal ikraam beyadihil khair.
Wa howa alaa kulii shayi in qadeer.

English translation:

There is no worthy of worship except Allah. He is only one. There is no partner for him. For the kingdom. And for through him (is) the praise. He gives life and causes death. And he is alive and he will never ever die. (Possessor of majesty and reverence) in his hand the goodness. And he is the goodness. And he (is) on everything powerful.

Explanation:

The meaning of toheed plays a vital role in the life of Muslim. The toheed is the main periphery line between a believer and non-believer. After accepting and implementing the toheed, a Muslim make sure that his action are according to the directions of Allah. Toheed is the main part of Islam without accepting it no one can be a Muslim.

5th Kalima:

The 5th kalmia referred to as ‘’Astaghfar’’ means ‘’seeking forgiveness from sins.’’ It represent a Muslim seeking an apology from Allah for his sins and sorrows whether they are done purposely or by mistake.

6-Kalima

Translation:

           Astaghfiru-llaha rabbi min kulle dhambin adhnabtuhoo ‘amadan aw khata-an sirran aw’ alaaniyata-wn wa-atoobu ilaihi min-adh dhambi-I ladhee a’lamu wamina-dh dhambi-I ladhi laaa a’lamu innaka anta ‘allamu-I ghuoobi wasattaaru-l ‘uyoobi wa ghaffaaru-dh dhunubi wala hawla walla quwata illaa billaahi- ‘aliyyil’ azeem.

Translation in English:

                                   I seek forgiveness from Allah, my lord! From every sin I committed knowingly or un- knowingly, secretly or openly, and I turn towards him from the evil I know and from the sin I do not know. Certainly you, you are the knower of the hidden things and the conceale of the mistakes and the forgiver. And there is no power and no strength except from Allah, the highest, and the greatest.

Explanation:

                      Forgiveness bring the person who truly fells awful about what they have done peace of mind. The benefit of this are extraordinary, a conscious and intentional apology which comes from the heart relieves the burden a person feels. This in turn can set you free from the past enable you to have a strong, carrying out, healthy body and mind for the future. Stress, anxiety, and regret are silent killers which take their tool slowly but accrue through time. We need to apologies for our bad doings and learn lesson from these things, never do anything which is against the order of Allah. Muslims should believe on Allah almighty, greatness of Allah.

6-Kalima:

A Muslim seek shelter from Allah in 6-Kalima radde kufr.that’s means left the sin and believes only one god. He also despises and condemns disbeliefs and infidelity. He confess and acknowledge Allah’s oneness abstains from lying, backbiting, and other big and small faults.

Translation:

                    Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min an ushrika bika shai-anw-wa a’lamu bihii. Was taghfiruka limaa laa a’lamu bihee. Tubtu anhu WA tabarra-tu min al-kufrui wash-shirki wal-kinzgdhbi wal-bid’ati wan-namiiti wal fawaahishi wal-buhtani w-al-ma’aasii kulliha. WA aslamtu WA aquulu la illaha illallahu muhammadur rasullallah.

English translation:

                     O, Allah! I seek refuge in you from that I should attribute any partner with you knowingly. I seek your forgiveness for the sin of which I have no knowledge. I repent from it. And becoming appalled by disbeliefs and idolatry, lying and backbiting, innovating and slander, lewdness’ and abomination, and all other acts of disobedience, o submit to your will. I believe and declare that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

Explanation:

Kufr means ‘’to hide ‘’or ‘’to conceal,’’ hence a kufr is someone who rejects and conceal the truth in the way kufr means to ignore or don’t follow order of Allah. In this kalmia also show to Muslim to pray stop doing sin and pray for help to left sin. The truth is taweed, which states that Allah is the one and the only God. That there is no other god then Allah, Allah is worthy for ibahdat (worship) and that prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Allah’s messenger.
