Every capability that makes LeadProof worth using is in the free version — the
evidence drawer, confidence, lead scoring, person and role detection, source URLs,
search, filters and CSV export. Pro raises the ceilings and adds four things. Nothing
is ever taken away from Free to make Pro look better.
LeadProof is not on sale yet
The extension is built and the prices below are final, but the Chrome Web Store
listing and the payment account are both still in review. Checkout will not complete
until they clear. Everything else on this page — what each plan includes, how
licensing works, the refund terms — is what it will be.
Checkout is hosted by Freemius on checkout.freemius.com. LeadProof never
sees or stores your card details. The amount charged — including any VAT or
sales tax for your country — is the one shown at checkout, in US dollars.
Free vs Pro
Exactly what a licence key changes
Six rows differ in degree and three in kind. Every other row is identical on both
tiers — including the one most tools in this category hold back, which is the
evidence behind each lead.

Mail-server verification needs two things, not one. A Pro licence,
and your explicit permission — it is off on a fresh install and asks for access
to cloudflare-dns.com the moment you switch it on. A DNS lookup tells the
resolver which companies you are prospecting, which is commercially sensitive
information about your business. A subscription is not agreement to send that
somewhere, so we ask separately.
Billing, licensing & refunds
How the payment side works
Written out here rather than buried in a checkout footer, so nothing about the
purchase is a surprise afterwards.
Freemius is the Merchant of Record
LeadProof Pro is sold and invoiced by Freemius, Inc., our reseller
and Merchant of Record. They take the payment, handle sales tax and VAT for your
country, and issue your invoice. Their name is what appears on your statement.
We never see your card
The purchase happens on Freemius’s own checkout page in an ordinary browser
tab. No card number, billing address or email address passes through the extension
— there is no code in it that could receive one, and no secret key in the
package that could act on your account.
You get a licence key, not an account
After paying you receive a key by email. Open LeadProof’s settings, paste it
into the licence panel, and Pro is on. No sign-up, no password, nothing to recover.
Chrome asks permission for that one request at the moment you submit the key.
One activation, and it moves
A licence covers one installation at a time. Removing the licence in LeadProof hands
the seat back before it forgets your key, so the next machine can take it; you can
also release one from
users.freemius.com. If every seat is in use, LeadProof says so in those words rather than claiming
your key is invalid.
Cancelling
Monthly and Yearly renew until you cancel, from the account link in your purchase
email. Cancelling stops the next charge; Pro keeps working until the period you have
already paid for ends. Lifetime never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
Refunds
If Pro is not what you expected, ask for a refund — email
waafaaofficial@gmail.com
from the address you paid with, or request it from your Freemius account. Refunds
are processed by Freemius and go back to your original payment method.
What we will tell you that most tools will not
LeadProof decides what you are entitled to on your own machine, from a
licence key that Freemius validated over the network. The licence check is genuine
and server-side; the monthly counting is local. Someone determined could edit their
own browser storage and grant themselves Pro.
Closing that would mean a server holding your usage counters and re-authorising
every scan — which means sending a record of every domain you prospect to us.
That trade is not worth making for a product whose main argument is that it does not
do that. So we have not made it, and we would rather say so here than let you find
out by reading the code. It is all in the
privacy policy.
Questions
Questions about paying
What is a “useful lead”, exactly?
A lead that carries a person, a role, a business address, a type, a status, a
confidence score, a lead score, evidence and a source. It is a much more valuable
unit than a raw extraction, which is why the allowance is counted in these rather
than in addresses. Addresses discovered are metered separately and far more
generously.
What does not use up my allowance?
A crawl that failed or a site that was unreachable costs nothing. An invalid address
costs nothing. A disposable-domain address costs nothing. An address with too little
evidence behind it costs nothing. And the same address found on forty pages costs
one, not forty — a company that puts its contact address in
every footer should not be expensive to scan.
What happens when I run out?
You get told the number and the date it resets, and you keep working. If you have
ten leads of allowance left and scan a site with forty, you get the ten — not
a paywall in place of the results. Running out of lead credits does not even stop a
scan: the company profile and the discovered addresses are still worth having, so
they still arrive. The one hard stop is the scan counter itself.
When does the month reset?
On the first of the calendar month, in your time zone, not UTC. The
interface says “this month” and “resets in 12 days”, and
both are statements about your calendar rather than a server’s.
Does Pro work if I am offline?
Yes, for 14 days. LeadProof re-checks your licence periodically, and a check that
cannot reach the server is our problem, not evidence that your licence is bad
— a corporate proxy blocking api.freemius.com must not cost you
what you paid for. A failed check changes nothing stored, so repeated failures
cannot quietly roll that window forward forever either.
My card failed. Do I lose Pro immediately?
No. A failed renewal is a billing problem you can fix, and cutting access the
instant a payment retries turns a recoverable situation into a cancellation. A
licence in a past-due state keeps Pro, and so does a trial.
Which currency, and is tax included?
Prices are in US dollars. VAT or sales tax for your country is calculated by
Freemius and shown at checkout before you pay, so the amount on the checkout page is
the amount charged.
Is there a team or agency plan?
Not in version 1. There are no team seats, no shared workspace, no admin console and
no CRM sync — those are real features and we would rather not list them until
they exist. If you need several seats now, email us and we will sort something out
rather than sell you something that is not there.
Still deciding?
Then do not buy anything. The free version has the evidence drawer, the scores and
the export — run it against a site you know well and see whether you agree
with what it says. That is the only recommendation worth making about a tool whose
selling point is that you can check its work.
