Convert PNG images into a PDF document. Screenshots, diagrams and exported graphics all work, and each one becomes a page. Your file never leaves this page. Everything happens in your browser, and there is no upload endpoint to send it to — that is checked by a build gate that fails if any network code reaches a tool’s bundle.
How to do it
- Add your PNG files.
- Order them the way the finished document should read.
- Pick a page size and create the PDF.
Questions
What happens to transparency?
A transparent background is placed on a white page, because a PDF page is white. Nothing is cropped or recoloured — the transparent areas simply show the page underneath.
Are screenshots readable afterwards?
Yes. The image is copied in unchanged, so text in a screenshot stays exactly as sharp as it was. It is still a picture of text, though, so it will not be selectable or searchable.
Should I use A4 or the image size?
Use the image size for screenshots — it avoids the odd margins you get from forcing a widescreen capture onto a portrait page. Use A4 if it is going to be printed.
Can I mix PNGs and JPGs?
Yes. This page is set up for PNGs, but the tool takes any of the common image formats together in one batch.
