Find the differences between two versions of a text, with the changed words marked inside each changed line. Your file never leaves this page. Everything happens in your browser, and there is no upload endpoint to send it to — that is checked by a build gate that fails if any network code reaches a tool’s bundle.
How to do it
- Paste the first version.
- Paste the second version.
- Read what changed, marked in place.
Questions
Why mark individual words?
Because “this line changed” is not an answer when the line is a paragraph — you would still have to find the changed word by eye, which is the job.
Is colour the only thing telling me what changed?
No. Added lines carry a plus and removed lines a minus, so the result reads the same without relying on being able to distinguish the two tints.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The comparison runs in your browser.
