Stamp your name or a copyright line across your images — in a corner, or tiled across the picture. Your file never leaves this page. Everything happens in your browser, and there is no upload endpoint to send it to — that is checked by a build gate that fails if any network code reaches a tool’s bundle.
How to do it
- Drop your images onto the box.
- Type the text and choose where it should sit.
- Watermark them and download.
Questions
Does a watermark stop people using my photo?
No, and it is worth being plain about that. A watermark is drawn into the pixels, so it can be cropped off or painted out, and tools that do it automatically are widely available. What it does is make unauthorised use obvious and traceable — which is why a mark across the middle is harder to remove than one in a corner.
Will it look right on images of different sizes?
Yes. The size is a proportion of the picture’s shorter side rather than a fixed number of pixels, so the same setting looks the same on a small image and a large one. A fixed point size is bold on an avatar and invisible on a panorama.
Can I do a whole batch at once?
Yes, and every image gets the same mark at the same relative size.
